![]() There's only one component video input, plus two composite ins and a composite monitor out. Other audio inputs include two optical digital, one coaxial digital, and two stereo analog. The back panel boasts seven more HDMI inputs, as well as dual HDMI outputs (both with ARC support). The chassis measures 17.3 inches wide by 6.5 inches high by 15 inches deep and weighs just 17.6 pounds. Positioned oh-so-subtly between the two halves is a long row of slender black buttons for things like power, setup, exit, OK, navigation, and various AV adjustments. The bottom half has a brushed-black finish with just the company logo and a small push-out door that hides a headphone jack, USB port, and HDMI input. The top half of the front panel sports a large LCD that's easily readable from across the room and a large volume knob, with a white backlight that's also too easily seen from across the room (thankfully, you can turn down the brightness in the setup menu). The AVR 3700 has an all-black chassis, as opposed to the two-tone silver/black chassis found on some of the older HK receivers. Dolby Pro Logic IIz and Dolby Volume are included, as is HK's EzSet automatic setup and EQ tool. It has all the latest audio and video perks, including 4K pass-through and upconversion, 3D pass-through, high-resolution audio decoding, dual HDMI outputs, powered zone-two capability, network connectivity of both the wired and wireless persuasion, vTuner Internet radio, and built-in AirPlay and DLNA streaming. Let's find out. Take one look at the AVR 3700's features list, and you'll see that it's quite competitive with offerings from Onkyo, Yamaha, Sony, and Denon. The AV receiver lineup runs the price gamut from $300 entry-level models up to $999.95 for the AVR 3700 being reviewed here. The company is still active in product development, offering new multi-channel speaker systems, soundbars, wireless speakers, headphones, and of course receivers. Some of that is likely due to oversight on our part, but it also seems like the Harman Kardon brand doesn't have as much industry presence as it did earlier in my career - perhaps taking a bit of a back seat to other Harman brands like Revel, Mark Levinson, and JBL. The most recent quick review we did was back in mid-2009, of the HK 3390 stereo receiver. Something is wrong here since I cannot get them off the WiFi mode.As I sat down to write my review of Harman Kardon's current top-shelf receiver, I took a look at our review archive and was surprised to discover that we haven't done a feature review of a Harman Kardon receiver since. Just play with them not as the first time I took them home. Please if you find out a solution, please let me know. I do not want to mess with them anymore since the reset and the WPS button do not seem to have a quality build. Very unhappy with the Harman Kardon Omni sofware. So now, I have to turn bluetooth on one Omi 10 ( master one) to use the blue tooth on ther other one ( slave one ). It sucks that I cannot return them.Īt least for now, I can listen to one Omni 10 via Bluetooth. I jack around with them for couple more time, now I can get my Bluetooth back as single one not pair. It showed connected as a L/P pair but the sound was dead silent. It would not work. I spend 4 hours this morning, switch from an Iphone 4s to the Samsung S4. I should never tried to connect in to my WiFi. Only because Spotify doesn't work over Wifi. So with that in mind.i'd be pretty crazy to ignore this offer. I believe the brand new Omni 20 is going to be 300 euros or more. In one store they have a showroom Omni 20 (great condition) for 125 euros, that's crazy, and the 10's are like 99 euros. Especially compared to how they are priced in a few stores here. Now that HK has announced new ones, i also saw the prices and they are a world of difference with the current ones. So now that it's clear Spotify over Wifi is not happening for these current Omni's, what other options are there? Which apps do these Omni's work fine with over Wifi? And is the app relatively bug free now? I returned the Omni 10 because i am planning on getting the 20, since it offers a better bass and overall better sound from what i understand. I guess i should have also tried using Wifi, because now i really have no idea of the difference. So the other day i tried out the Omni 10 in my house for a few days and even audio quality with Spotify over Bluetooth wasn't really that bad.
